Bloggers and their wedding photos

Following our wedding, Jen and I were pretty careful not to post any wedding photos for fear of what might happen. What were we afraid of happening? I don't know. But whatever it was, we didn't want it to happen, so we made sure not to publicize our wedding and it also meant not posting wedding photos online.

This not posting wedding photos was a real bummer, since so many of our friends have posted their wedding photos for their friends and family. And, plus, it's a fun thing to share with others.

But now that photos of us have been in the Bergen Record and on Channel 7 and in who knows where else, I figure we might as well post a few for friends and family to enjoy. In spite of all the bruhaha that has surrounded it, our wedding day was a special time for us and for our friends and family. If there is one thing I regret, it's that we felt we couldn't invite more people to it. We kept it small to limit the possibility of a bruhaha. So much for the best laid plans!

Here's our favorite photo. It's in the garden at Smith College. People who have seen this photo always remark about how happy we look. Whenever I hear that, I always smile remembering just what happy day it was. And, the cake was terrific.
